Terms and Conditions for the purchase of Artwork Photography.

Print: is, where applicable, taken to mean and include the photograph medium and any accessories (mounting board, frames, certificate of authenticity), collectively referred to, from time to time, as 'Goods'
Conditions of Sale
With the purchase of any Silver Shadow P/L photographic print, open category or Limited Edition, you are bound by and agree to the following conditions:
1. Limited Edition Prints are:
a. not necessarily offered in a linear or sequential edition order;
b. limited to that specified plus the possibility of two additional prints
- 'Edition A' The Artists print (which may be used for advertising and or personal use)
- 'Edition B' where applicable - The models print
2. A signed Certificate of Authenticity accompanies every limited edition.
3. Unless otherwise specified, artworks have a subtle digital embossed style signature within the image.
4. Prints are sold unframed. Orders are dispatched up to 10 days after their receipt. Any information about specific delivery periods given shall always be non-binding as circumstances beyond the control of Silver Shadow P/L may delay delivery. Allow up to 10 business days to produce your photograph which is then securely shipped in travel safe cylinders by courier or Registered Post. Allow up to 4 days for delivery Australia wide. International shipping providers used by Silver Shadow P/L indicate, on average, 3-10 working days for transit periods. Silver Shadow P/L will email the shipping consignment note which can be used for tracking purposes.
5. Unless otherwise specified, the print media is KODAK professional, silver halide C-type photographic paper, chosen for its archival permeance and splendid tonal range.
6. Archival, Glicee printing on Canvas or water colour cotton rag paper is available by request at an additional cost.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee: In the highly unlikely circumstance where you are dissatisfied with the quality of print the 'Satisfaction Guarantee' is provided according to the following conditions:
a. Please advise us immediately via email outlining your reasons,
b. Return the print to Silver Shadow P/L HQ, in its original packaging.
c. The GOODS (print and or any accessories, like a frame or mounting board etc,) are returned at the ordering party's risk. In case of any deterioration or loss of the GOODS prior to their return, the ordering party shall forego any monies paid.
d. A new print will be produced, in as per point 4 above.
e. Silver Shadow P/L will bear the cost of re-shipping (which may be by a different carrier to the original method) the new photograph back to you
f. To ensure there is only ever one print with your edition number in circulation, your new (redone) edition will not be re-ordered until we receive (and then destroy) your returned edition. Thus the production times as stipulated in point 4 start from the point of return on your (defective) pint.
g. In conjunction with point 9 below, minor variations in colour, density and the quality of the medium (eg canvas is a natural product, having inconsistent yet appealing surface texture variations) may occur from time to time and between production batches. The ordering party expressly agrees that the prints are subject to product-specific and natural changes and which may be directly affected by the environments, local to the physical print, and or inappropriate storage and display (ie avoid direct sunlight). These variations do not render the print defective.
h. This Satisfaction Guarantee is only valid for and can only be activated within a period of 7 days after receipt of the print.
8. Un-insured Australia wide shipping (signature required) is included in the cost of the print editions. P.O boxes are not possible. International shipping is provided by quotation.
9. The printed image received will vary from the image viewed on your electronic viewing display (computer monitor, mobile phone display, television etc). Different technologies (print vs. electronic) with differing calibrations, including; contrast, brightness and colour hue settings vary between every electronic viewing device and as such the electronic image, inevitably, will differ from the printed photograph medium received.
10. World class photographic laboratories adhering to international standards are employed to produce the artworks under the strict direction and specifications of the Silver Shadow team. The printed edition you receive is carefully assessed and quality controlled prior to shipping to ensure your artwork will be in prime condition and exactly as the it should appear to the human eye.

Care and Maintenance
12. It is highly recommended that you immediately frame (or stretch if you opt from canvas) your artwork using your trusted professional service supplier. Redoing the prints is not allowed for kinks, creases or finger marks on, etc, the prints as they are quality controlled and shipped in perfect condition. We recommend viewing your image at the framer only. Carefully unpack your print on a flat surface area, larger than the size of the print, to ensure that it does not drop over the edge. Unrolling and re-rolling the print is not recommended as it increases the probability that damage will occur.

13. The limited edition prices are subject to change. It is anticipated that as an edition approaches the maximum allocation the price will rise. Secure your artwork at these introductory prices as inevitably the will rise.
Copyright
14. Copyright of the image is owned and retained by either Silver Shadow P/L. You may not scan, duplicate, resell, publish, copy and or otherwise utilise the print or image in any manner without prior written authorisation from a Silver Shadow P/L representative.
15. The copyright of the image is not transferred with the purchase of an any print. Copyright of the image is owned and retained by Silver Shadow P/L Australia. With the purchase of a print, the actual physical print is what the purchaser owns, NOT THE COPYRIGHT OF THE IMAGE. The purchaser has the right to view and or dispaly the print for non-commercial purposes only.
GST/ VAT/ Excise duties.
16. Prices listed on this website are exclusive of any local excise duties. Applicable GST, VAT, customs, import duties etc collected by the ordering party's state and or country of residence shall be borne by the ordering party. GST for Australian Residents is to be added to the cost of the print.

17. The sale of any print is subject to the governing laws of NSW, Australia.
